Videographer
Description
About the job
The North American Guitar—home of the world’s finest guitars—is looking to expand its team in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, with an awesome videographer capable of creating both long- and short-form cutting-edge films that show our passion and knowledge of acoustic and electric guitars.
This role is a critical part of the marketing team, sitting at the heart of everything we do. Content is one of the most important ways we market our stock and high-quality video that reflects the tone and values of The North American Guitar is our biggest engagement driver.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, private equity-backed, online guitar retailer and have autonomy to create short-from demos of all our stock, travel across North American to create feature documentaries with our luthiers, ideate and execute compelling social content, and film interviews / sessions with the most notable players on the planet.
You’ll work directly with our Content Manager in our Nashville showroom, owning all pre- and post-production. You’ll build a video content calendar with the sales and marketing team and ensure that every day we have new video content being published to engage, educate, and entertain. You’ll also be expected to lend a hand with still product photography alongside the rest of the team.
You’ll need to be a proactive videographer with a keen eye for new angles, have amazing organizational skills (you’ll be planning a lot of content and organizing a lot of people), and the confidence to work with people to get the best out of them on camera.
Knowledge of the guitar market is a plus, but not a requirement. The main thing we’re looking for here is an exceptional videographer with the ability to plan pre-production and execute post-production on a variety of guitar videos. We have amazing players in house—we need the amazing videographer.
