Technical Operations Manager
Description
- Oversee Allegiant Stadium technologies and services, including user-related incidents and requests in a Windows and Macintosh environment.
- Supporting network, internet, and telephony systems by providing network, wireless access and telephony needs as requested by business stakeholders
- Manage and deliver tech services for events held at Allegiant Stadium in addition to onsite support. Work directly with the various Allegiant Stadium teams or affiliates on initiatives to establish new/emerging technology components.
- Manage and develop standard operating procedures for Allegiant Stadium to help manage and support its technology systems. Work directly with the ASM Global corporate group to assure policies and procedures are being followed in addition to best practices.
- Manage and schedule full-time, part-time, event support staff and third-party vendors that are needed to support Allegiant Stadium business as well as Events.
- Employee onboarding, offboarding and changes, direction from HR and hiring manager, set up equipment, software, etc. for new users, collect equipment, shut off access for exiting, work with hiring managers to provide any IT support new employee needs
- Manage and develop standard operating procedures to facilitate new hardware/software requests and tracking of all IT assets.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on venue technology and moving the business forward. Develop and execute plans that focus on operations excellence to increase overall efficiencies.
- Keep inventory of technologies systems for Life Cycle Management and budgeting purposes. Work closely with Director of IT, Finance, and business leaders to establish budgets capturing capex costs for technology investments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of working experience in IT or Computer Engineering
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Linux, VMWare, Office 365, DNS/DHCP, cybersecurity and networking tools
- IT Support experience including networking, telephony, desktop, and servers.
- Experience leading IT/network projects
- Ability to learn and problem solve
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong verbal, written communication and customer service skills
- Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto, security, cloud, or other technical certifications is preferred.
