Requirements
- You must have experience as a professional musician or event/wedding DJ, ideally as a the person responsible for booking and working with clients, and preferably you are still active.
- You must be comfortable and experienced with sales as you will be helping customers find and purchase the services of entertainment groups, DJs, bands, ensembles or performers which will best fit their needs.
- You must love interfacing with people including reaching out by phone, taking calls, emailing and texting.
- You must have experience and be at ease working where your compensation is up to you, based only on performance and results, since GigRoster™ Talent Coordinators are paid based on sales commission split.
- You must be at home reaching out and promoting your services on a daily basis both creating and looking for opportunities.
- You must always be looking for places to market your service and be proactive in initiating contact or finding opportunities that exist where we should be involved. This is not for someone who would like to wait for referrals and simply write up an “order” for talent booking.
- You must be tech savvy and able to work within our proprietary CRM system to manage a large number of customers, bookings and performance dates. If computers and advanced tech give you trouble, this would not be a good fit.
- You must be organized and be excellent at follow-up, sales and closing.
- You must be detail oriented as we are tasked with having virtually zero tolerance for errors and omissions in booking contracts.
- You must be an excellent communicator, and in fact truly enjoy meeting and chatting with new people every day.
- You must have a fun demeanor and an unshakable, truly no-drama approach to getting business done and helping customers get both what they want and what will work best for their entertainment needs so as to create repeat bookings and good referrals.
- Are you prepared to fully commit to the training course, engaging in two interactive remote meetings per week for 90 minutes each over a 4-week period? (Google Meet Virtual Meeting format)?
- Are you dedicated and capable of completing the course work in our online Team Guide System, scoring 90% or better on all quizzes, before advancing to work with customers and performing acts?
- Do you possess a minimum of 10 years of experience as a professional musician, performer, band leader, or entertainer?
- Specifically, do you have ample performance experience and a background in booking events? Are you highly proficient in working with computers and technology, including utilizing a CRM system?
