Description

We are hiring a Synch Licensing Assistant in Los Angeles. Candidates should have a passion for music along with excellent communication and project management skills.
**Responsibilities **
  • Scheduling and calendar management
  • Organizing and maintaining synch music library and other department assets/databases
  • Assist with creative pitching and actively seek new licensing opportunities
  • Assist with clearances and approvals for license requests
  • Oversee blasts & newsletters
  • Research & confirm publishing splits and coordinate with other departments to ensure proper rights information
  • Assist with copyright registrations as needed
  • Organizing and submitting expenses
  • Coordinating travel
  • Create and send show invites for the Prescription Songs roster, and manage client RSVPs and guest lists
  • Attending shows and concerts
  • Plan and execute artist/songwriter showcase(s)
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements

Requirements
  • Fully vaccinated and up to date COVID-19 vaccination preferred, subject to applicable law
  • Must be based in Los Angeles with a vehicle
  • In-office hours required
  • Preferred 1 - 2 years’ experience in music licensing, administration, music supervision or related industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • General music industry experience with knowledge of the recorded and music publishing businesses preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Google Drive, and Disco preferred
  • A proactive self-starter who is extremely detail oriented with strong project management and organizational skills
  • Anticipates needs and creates efficient and effective processes
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and adhere to deadlines, execute on tasks while handling multiple assignments

Salary Range
Hourly Pay Range: $22.12 – $23.32
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
