**Coordinator- Sync Licensing **

BMG Sync UK is a forward thinking, collaborative and pro-active media licensing team. Working across film, TV, advertising, games, brand partnerships and bespoke music creation. We are uniquely placed in that we look after an exciting roster of active writers and artists as well as with a vast and diverse catalogue including instantly recognisable hits and hidden gems alike - all under roof.
Sitting within BMG’s sync team you will be working on negotiating and concluding a broad range of projects, focussed primarily on UK broadcast television and international projects using repertoire signed to the UK company. Providing broad licensing and administrative support to the wider sync team.
What You'll Be Doing.
  • Developing client relationships while handling a large volume of diverse requests including domestic television & film.
  • Responding to license requests and carrying out copyright research as required before quoting.
  • Handling incoming international requests for UK repertoire (Film & TV).
  • Working with a range of stakeholders in the course of a deal from artist/ writer/ managers/ accountants , ensuring terms are communicated clearly and are supported.
  • Coordinating with creative sync team to ensure opportunities are seen through from start to finish.
  • Administrative support including managing shared licensing inbox, creating sync reports and putting together presentations and analysis for internal and external use.
  • Attending gigs, client entertainment and representing BMG at wider industry events.

Requirements

Who You Are.
  • Some experience of working in sync or licensing more broadly.
  • Great interpersonal skills to building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach, curious and keen to learn.
  • Personable, approachable & outgoing.
  • Organised with great attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of data/ analytics + proficient in Excel.
  • Love for a wide range of music!
