Description

Boutique entertainment law firm is seeking a law student intern for an immersive summer internship opportunity. The firm’s clientele consists of high-profile artists and musicians, songwriters, producers, record labels, music publishing companies, management companies, brand influencers, models, and executives active in the music and entertainment industries.
The intern will assist the firm's lawyers in transactional matters. The firm’s law student intern program is designed to provide the intern with a hands-on experience in the real-world environment of a boutique, fast-paced music and entertainment law firm. Assignments will vary and may include the following:
Contract review and preparation of analysis
Contract drafting and negotiation
Legal research

Requirements

Applicant Requirements
Ideal candidates should have:
Related experience/background in music and entertainment and/or demonstrates interest in the fields of music, entertainment, or similar industries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail; excellent legal research and analytical skills
Excellent ability to work independently and remotely
Exceptional communication skills
Sensitivity to deadlines and ability to multi-task
Demonstrated ability to work as a team
Prior law firm/record label/music publishing or related internship experience is a plus.
Applicants must be enrolled in an ABA accredited law school and be able to receive course credit for the summer internship.
