Summer Internship, Music (UK & IE)
Description
- Help to build and foster relationships with the artists and label community, while supporting and educating them on Spotify tools and resources
- Collaborate with the editorial team to help ensure content strategies are localised and efficiently implemented
- Support in the management and execution of artist and playlist marketing campaigns
- Research trends and insights for team projects, and build presentations to communicate team and project performance
- Assist in developing methodologies and efficiencies to be an outstanding partner to our artist and label communities
- Work multi-functionally with other internal teams to help fulfil Music Team goals and cross-functional projects
- Conduct general housekeeping and administrative tasks, (eg. content updates, maintaining release schedules, research on competitors and music industry news)
Requirements
- You are currently enrolled in an educational or work experience program in music, media or marketing
- You have some relevant work experience at a digital music service, record label or media company
- You have a strong understanding of the UK and Ireland music industry landscape, along with current trends and innovations within the industry
- You have a general understanding of how to creatively market and promote a release across digital platforms
- You have a keen interest in both music and technology
- You have excellent presentation and communication skills
- You are well organised, have an outstanding attention to detail and have the ability to plan and deliver around critical timelines
- You have excellent people skills and thrive on working collaboratively
