Sr. Manager, Production Music
Description
- Collaborate directly with composers, producers, and JV clients to produce commissioned works and albums for our owned label catalogs.
- Create briefs, send them to composers and manage the music creation process along with the composers, keeping the client involved as necessary.
- Gather deliverables and prepare releases for uploading to our online portal, utilizing the deliverables: final mixes, metadata, lyrics, stems, artwork, contracts, invoices and financial documents.
- Prepare final metadata required for new releases uploading, ensuring all data is complete, including composer/publisher info, tagging and album data.
- Coordinate with global producers to ensure delivery standards are maintained through all stages from conception to release.
- Prepare all releases for tagging.
- Assist with organization and procurement of deliverables and metadata for back catalog JV needs.
- General catalog management, including deliverable tracking and release management.
Requirements
- Proven experience producing music for sync/catalog, including experience in music production for TV and reality entertainment.
- Understanding of metadata and production music.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Teams and Dropbox.
- Familiarity with music production and/or music theory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to tailor communication styles for various internal and external interactions, approach clients with patience and empathy, and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree or trade school certificate in music or other related field.
- Experience with music engineering.
- Knowledge of Pro Tools and/or Logic Pro.
