Job Description
NFL Media is looking for a football fan who loves music for the Sr. Coordinator Music Supervision position. Reporting to the NFL Head of Music, this role will support the NFL Media Music department in music curation and licensing for all aspects of live television and digital content production. The ideal candidate will be dialed in on a wide variety of music with an understanding of music administration functions and experience working with labels and publishers.
Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the Manager Music Supervision to support the NFL Music team’s services and assist with the planning calendar around music initiatives such as NFLN campaigns, social player highlights, and support for NFL tentpole performances.
  • Contribute to the music curation for NFL Media content across NFL Network, NFL Social and NFL Marketing from both a creative and logistical perspective.
  • Coordinate program schedules, show assets, clearance requests, and similar information related to NFL music initiatives to ensure cross-organizational awareness and execution.
  • Research music ownership data from labels and publishers to ensure accurate reporting and administration.
  • Works with others on the NFL Media Music team on the implementation of the company’s music reporting software and SOP’s with NFL Media production.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Motivated, organized self-started with experience working in professional settings ideally in creative services, and the ability to operate under strict deadlines.
  • Familiarity with cue sheets and basics of the music reporting workflow.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of request with accurate execution and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changes in requests with high level of detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders and establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish language fluency strongly preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • General knowledge of NFL products and overall calendar.
  • 1-2 years experience in music coordination and/or supervision.
  • Experience editing music for visual media.
Terms /Expected Hours of Work
  • Required to work 29.5 hours per week
