Social Marketing Manager
Description
- Carry out day-to-day operations on all social programming across Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
- Write social copy for posts
- QC and review social assets before publishing
- Work alongside Production and Editorial teams to identify social opportunities across both written and video content
- Work closely with Product and Brand Marketing managers to identify social opportunities for product launches and larger marketing initiatives
- Work closely with Spotify Charts team to create and publish weekly chart data across social channels (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok)
- Assist with opportunities for testing & optimization with Growth team
- Provide partners with key social insights on a regular cadence, including opportunities for channel improvement and growth
- Act as daily point of contact for social agencies & partners
- Day-to-day contact & work with agency on community engagement

Requirements
- You have proven experience working on social media at a brand, editorial publication, or music company.
- You love all things music, and enjoy finding ways to help artists and their teams grow and succeed.
- You are an expert at identifying how to use social media to optimize, test, and improve.
- You enjoy coming up with new, creative concepts to execute on social — whether it’s through video, thoughtful community engagement, or UGC.
- You keep up with the ever-changing social landscape, and are always ahead of the curve when it comes to identifying new trends on social.
- You understand how organic and paid social media strategies can align to achieve marketing goals.
- You not only keep up with music as a consumer, but you understand the nuances of the music industry, the relationships between artists and their teams, and the creator journey.
- You can clearly communicate sophisticated technical concepts and speak to a variety of audiences, ranging from artists to marketers, with authenticity, personality, and empathy.
- You have a stellar collection of TikToks saved on your phone.
- Experience working with agencies is a plus.
