SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist
Description
- Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
- Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
- Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
- Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
- Employ user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization methods to turn visitors into active users
- Collaborate with others within the corporate marketing department and product team to manage SEO strategy
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links
- Develop and implement link building strategy
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
- Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts, landing pages, search ad, etc
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or applicable field
- Two to three years of experience performing search engine optimization functions
- Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics, SEM Rush, Yoast, and Wincher
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
- Proven track record of revenue producing initiatives
- Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
- Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
- Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
- Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus
- Professionalism and respect for others.
- Music Industry experience
- Ability to read and write in Spanish and Portuguese
- This position reports to the Marketing Manager located in Tampa, Florida
- Hybrid work
