Publishing & Sync Intern

Join our Summer Internship Program! We are looking for interns to join our first-ever TuneCore internship program. TuneCore is building innovative products and services across all of our departments, and we are excited to bring on new talent to learn about our team & contribute and grow with us. We encourage candidates at any stage of their career to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Publishing Rights Research
- Artist Outreach and Engagement
- Creative Sync Pitching Support
- New music listening, vetting, asset acquisition
- Tagging of catalog assets
- Collaboration on Sample negotiations
- Third party platform maintenance (DISCO, SyncFloor, CadenzaBox)
- Mechanical Licensing Assistance
- Cue sheet tracking and submissions, ad forms to PROs
- Ad hoc tasks relating to publishing as required
- Cross-department collaboration as required (Customer Care, Publishing Administration, Artist & Partner Relations, Content Review, Fraud)
Key Project 1: Publishing Admin Client Maintenance:
- Researching rights for publishing clients
- Assisting publishing team with registration updates and/or cleanup
Key Project 2: Catalog Growth and Development:
- Identify new artists/writers to add to the sync catalog
- Update creative tags and music assets (Instrumentals, bios, photos, etc)
Requirements
- Enrolled in college with a music-focused major or minor
- Must be part of a credit-bearing college internship program
- At least one-year of college
- Strong communications skills: written, verbal and interpersonal
- Proactive, energetic attitude with a desire to work in a results-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Google Docs and Microsoft Office
- Experience with digital content management systems (especially iTunes Connect, Spotify Catalogue Manager and YouTube Creator Studio) a plus
