Promo intern - RCA
Description
- Collating press and online cuttings, for the publicity team, and learning what is appropriate for distribution for each artist.
- Ensuring that relevant cuttings from print magazines are saved down correctly for reference
- Assisting in the co-ordination of Press, TV and Radio Junkets.
- Servicing videos to TV Broadcasters and ensuring suitable edits are made.
- Ensuring that the Press, TV & Radio roster splits are up to date.
- You will be accountable for producing & maintaining the weekly TV reports and TV Diary.
- Circulating weekly TV playlists
- Updating contact and distribution lists
- Providing team members with necessary documents for meetings.
- Distributing music, images and e-cards to bookers, producers and journalists.
- Accountable for all general admin including purchase orders, invoices, bikes, ordering stationery and stock control.
- Provide excellent administrative support skills in compiling reports and information for the team as required as well as managing a busy diary, meetings and expenses.
- Booking travel for artists when required
- Ensure smooth running of the office – look after phones, computers and general office equipment liaising with facilities and other central teams as appropriate.
Requirements
- You will be super organised and be able to demonstrate this in your experience to date
- You should be detail orientated
- You will be able to effectively manage a busy workload with conflicting priorities
- Team player
- You will be reactive and have the ability to adapt and flex as the situation requires
- You will be positive and compliment the good energy throughout the team
- You will have an understanding of what a promotions team does in general, and more specifically in music
- You will have a keen interest in the main areas of the promotion world
