Projects and Marketing Coordinator
Description
Are you interested in contributing to a small team to bring arts education projects to life? Do you have excellent organisation skills with the ability to think laterally and work independently in a fast-paces environment? Do you enjoy developing projects and events and building and maintaining online presence?
This is an incredibly varied and exciting role that will enable the postholder to work across all the charity’s projects, coordinating a wide range of artists, educators, partners, and participants. No two days are the same in this role, one day you might be planning a social media campaign marketing our Saturday Programme and the next you could be visiting our arts-embedded curricula schools projects or one of our productions on tour. At the core of this work is working collaboratively with the other team members to ensure efficient and accurate day-to-day running of a busy charity with a wide portfolio of arts education projects.
Requirements
To be suitable for this role, you must be/have:
- Minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience in an arts administration or arts education environment;
- Highly developed administrative, and organisational skills;
- A sound knowledge of the arts (ideally music), arts education and a passion for the role the arts can play in enhancing the lives of all members of the community;
- Self-motivated with the ability to think laterally, work independently, meet deadlines and prioritise a complex workload;
- Computer literate and able to use Word, and Excel (we operate on Mac) and the ability to learn how to use new software quickly and effectively.
