SUMMARY:
The Project Management Assistant with a focus on supporting Mergers & Acquisitions will be responsible for ensuring smooth operational transitions for newly acquired labels, including coordinating new releases and managing workflows, assisting with onboarding new music and media assets, and conducting research on artists.
This is a part time role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with the integration of new clients into Salesforce, ensuring all client information is accurately captured and organized
  • Collaborate with internal label teams to ensure smooth operational transitions for newly acquired labels, including coordinating new releases and managing workflows
  • Assist with managing timelines and deliverables for new releases, ensuring all relevant marketing, distribution, and reporting processes are in place
  • Assist with conducting research on artists and the music landscape to support label and publishing initiatives
  • Assist with onboarding new music and media assets into the system, ensuring that all data and metadata are properly recorded and aligned with release schedules
  • Provide support with managing data, creating reports, and ensuring accurate tracking of key metrics
  • May assist with other administrative duties as needed

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be based in Los Angeles
  • High School Diploma and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1+ year previous experience in social media functions/platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines while producing high-quality work
  • Strong technical skills related to Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, Slack, Salesforce
  • Familiarity with current trends/campaigns preferred
  • Previous creative experience preferred (light photo/video editing)
  • Previous experience in the music industry preferred
