Production Manager
Description
- The effective and efficient overseeing of all Live Nation UK on-sales, ensuring the correct Production and technical info is given to the respective venues in advance of on sale.
- Develop and further Live Nation’s venue information on file.
- Develop a database for all arena level show set ups and manifest options.
- Assist Promoters with budgetary questions and production logistics prior to on sales.
- The development and implementation of Artist riders both technically and contractually.
- To assist freelance reps with any questions or information they are looking for across their shows.
- Ascertaining the most cost-effective quotations from a range of suppliers, in turn, reducing overall budgeted overheads, thus increasing Artist and Live Nations profitability.
- The effective execution and delivery of all Promoter/Artist requirements in accordance with calculated budgets.
- To ensure efficient lines of communication between Artist Production Manager/Tour Manager/Tour Accountant and Live Nation and its varied departments.
- To maximise, through liaison with the Artists production, the maximum saleable capacity at on sale, thus increasing the box office gross and Artist/Live Nation monetary potential.
- Management of event personnel, resulting in the successful integration of all departments contracted to the event/tour.
- Assist senior members of the production department with the advancing and execution of large scale Stadium/out-door events.
Requirements
- A management level of production industry experience.
- The ability to work to absolute deadlines under extreme pressure.
- Ability to find logistical/cost effective solutions within restrictive timeframes.
- Ability to multitask/execute tasks in both a proficient and efficient manner.
- A proficient level of accountancy /management in producing production budgets.
- Willingness to regularly travel as an integral part of the role
- Efficient management of all production, tour and venue personnel when on a tour.
- Communication/interpersonal/ integrating skills are a must.
- In-depth knowledge of the music industry at a variety of levels is good to have.
- IT Skills, especially a knowledge of AutoCAD is useful.
- Knowledge of a variety of box office reporting systems, especially Ticketmaster.
- Knowledge and management of Health and Safety, in accordance with current law and statutes.
- Experience of working on concerts across Europe
