Product Marketing Manager, Partnerships
Description
SoundCloud is looking for a Product Marketing Manager who will work at the intersection of our product, music, business development and marketing teams. The Product Marketing Manager role spans the most exciting parts of our business, from understanding and anticipating customer needs – be it hobbyist creators, professional artists or music listeners and fans – to building out positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies for various products and features.
As a Product Marketing Manager at SoundCloud, you will play an important role in shaping product strategy and driving revenue growth. If we can’t sell it, we probably shouldn’t build it. Interacting with teams across the entire organization, you will work cross-functionally to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, leveraging market insights to differentiate our offerings and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product marketing strategies aligned with company objectives
- Leverage internal and external data to identify audiences, trends, and competitive landscapes
- Develop messaging and positioning that compels user behaviors and reaches into new marketing programs and campaigns
- Lead the implementation of effective go-to-market plans for product, feature and partnership launches, holding stakeholders accountable to ensure successful execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and challenge peers to drive product success through said positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies
- Drive the creation of marketing assets and product-related content
- Serve as a key stakeholder in product pricing and packaging strategies to maximize revenue
- Analyze product performance metrics and market feedback to optimize marketing strategies and visions beyond the actual launch moment
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams and customers as a subject matter expert for the product portfolio
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product development and marketing initiatives
- Research trends, risks and opportunities in the music industry and digital streaming
- Establish expertise in and enable stakeholders on a set of verticals and audiences
Requirements
Experience And Background
- 4+ years in Product Marketing or a related field
- Experience working with partnership and business development teams
- Passion for the future of music and knowledge about music industry dynamics
- Communication chops with a track record of presenting to both senior management and external audiences
- Good judgment and an ability to handle complex situations with clarity and confidence
- Strength in establishing good relationships, building trust and managing stakeholders
- Overall adaptability and organization skills; comfort managing multiple projects and setting priorities
Benefits & Perks
The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $130,000 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, internal equity, and location. We also offer a generous total rewards program - read more about additional benefits and perks below!
