Product Marketing Lead - Spotify for Artists
Description
- Lead a high-functioning product marketing team focused on developing, launching, and driving adoption for industry-leading tools for artists and their teams
- Nurture and grow high-performing product marketing team to ensure strong team performance and talent development
- Build and implement marketing and go-to-market strategy across our Spotify for Artists portfolio, driving key business and customer metrics
- Craft the high-level narrative and marketing strategy for our artist commerce products — working side by side with our product teams to think through how Spotify can power artists’ merch and ticketing businesses
- Lead a team in developing the product marketing strategy and driving product adoption for the Spotify for Artists portfolio of tools, including data & analytics, Spotify Charts, artist profiles, Spotify Publishing Analytics, playlist pitching, and artist podcasts
- Deliver impactful marketing campaigns to inspire artists around how to leverage our tools and drive product and business goals
- Serve as a cross-functional business lead alongside Product, Design, Insights, and Engineering leads to represent Marketing for our Spotify for Artists business
- Serve as a senior partner to our Commercial Partnerships, Creator Support, and Music Teams to bring products to market thoughtfully and serve our customers
- Develop marketing programs & campaigns to drive product engagement in partnership with the wider Creator Marketing team
- Own and drive a holistic product and communication strategy around a dedicated business line in coordination with the rest of the Creator Marketing team, including Growth, Content, and Social Marketing, as well as PR
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in product marketing for a media, creator, e-commerce, or tech company.
- Possess a strong love for music.
- You’ve launched and driven adoption for new creator or commerce products and services, with ultimate accountability for a cross-functional effort, owning and achieving key KPIs.
- Understand the marketing funnel and know how to optimize it at each stage.
- A great communicator with experience conveying ideas to end users and engineering teams alike.
- Comfortable developing marketing strategies using both quantitative and qualitative insights.
- You understand the music ecosystem. In a former life, you’ve been an artist or worked closely with creators.
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA optional.
