Product Manager (Dance)
Description
- Manage all aspects of physical and digital product delivery.
- Conduct market research and analyze sales history for artist catalogues.
- Coordinate with assets team for archive material digitization and research.
- Source audio masters from various locations and coordinate with mastering houses/engineers.
- Create production deadline timetables for new releases.
- Obtain proper clearance for images and videography in releases.
- Ensure publishing credits are correct for all owned repertoire.
- Coordinate with production team and designers for artwork and manufacturing quotes.
- Document product information and save artwork files in the database system.
- Prepare sales tools for Marketing Managers, including sales sheets and catalogues.
- Present new products at monthly sales presentations.
- Assist with campaigns and conduct research as needed.
- Organize and store marketing and sales assets.
- Create secure audio links for upcoming releases.
- Manage product management and marketing administration.
- Maintain the 'New Release Schedule' spreadsheet.
- Generate metadata forms and purchase orders.
- Collate assets for releases and arrange couriers as needed.
Requirements
- Experienced in product management within the record company.
- Efficient, organized, and skilled in multitasking with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Knowledgeable about music and record industry developments.
- Knowledge of a wide range of music, with a specific interest in Dance music and culture.
- Experience in physical and digital marketing.
- Basic Photoshop, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom proficiency.
- Familiarity with social media and technology.
