Summary: This is an intern position at Live Nation - Canada's largest concert promoter. This position would assist in all aspects of the marketing of summer events including; advertising, promotions and public relations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assisting show marketing team on various projects including market research and auditing creative
  • Contributing to marketing strategies and execution to engage target markets
  • Managing poster and flyer allocations and distribution
  • Communicating graphic needs to external graphic artist
  • Pulling, compiling, and submitting media lists
  • Assisting social media team with writing copy and customer service
  • Coordinating ticket orders to media partners and other contesting elements as needed
  • Updating various websites and ticketing pages and ensuring assets are correct
  • Assisting show marketing team collecting and compiling invoices and backup for advertising settlements and other admin duties as required
  • Perform other tasks and work on projects as needed

Requirements

Skills & Qualities Desired:
  • An avid interest in music is an asset, be knowledgeable about artists and genres, and have an overall interest in learning about the music industry
  • An understanding of Advertising and Promotional principles
  • Proven ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop professional relationships
  • Ability to take direction while also displaying strong personal initiative
  • A creative thinker and self-starter
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as required
  • A positive, winning attitude, incorporating integrity, confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions
