Marketing Intern
Description
- Assisting show marketing team on various projects including market research and auditing creative
- Contributing to marketing strategies and execution to engage target markets
- Managing poster and flyer allocations and distribution
- Communicating graphic needs to external graphic artist
- Pulling, compiling, and submitting media lists
- Assisting social media team with writing copy and customer service
- Coordinating ticket orders to media partners and other contesting elements as needed
- Updating various websites and ticketing pages and ensuring assets are correct
- Assisting show marketing team collecting and compiling invoices and backup for advertising settlements and other admin duties as required
- Perform other tasks and work on projects as needed
Requirements
- An avid interest in music is an asset, be knowledgeable about artists and genres, and have an overall interest in learning about the music industry
- An understanding of Advertising and Promotional principles
- Proven ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively
- Demonstrated ability to build and develop professional relationships
- Ability to take direction while also displaying strong personal initiative
- A creative thinker and self-starter
- Available to work evenings and weekends as required
- A positive, winning attitude, incorporating integrity, confidentiality and discretion
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions
