We are seeking an exceptional Marketing and Sales Coordinator to deliver marketing, digital and sales campaign activity for Sunderland’s brand-new music and arts venue, The Fire Station, working as part of the Sunderland Culture marketing team, at an exciting and pivotal moment for culture in the city.
The Marketing and Sales Coordinator will join Sunderland Culture as part of a new team for The Fire Station, as we prepare to launch the venue in early 2022.
The role will support the Venue Director and Head of Marketing and Communications in the marketing and promotion of an exciting, wide range and high volume of music, theatre, dance and comedy performances at The Fire Station, ensuring that all activity is marketed to the widest possible audience, maximising event profile, ticket sales and revenue. While this role will be based at and mainly focussed on The Fire Station, occasional work to support wider campaigns at other Sunderland Culture venues may be required from time-to-time.

Requirements

The successful applicant will need to be a team player and excellent communicator with a flexible approach and proven record of delivering marketing and sales activity in a fast-paced performance venue environment.
The Marketing and Sales Coordinator will join a passionate and dynamic team who are committed to bringing the best of arts and heritage to the people of Sunderland, the north east and beyond.
