We are currently looking for a skilled and strategic Social Content and Growth Marketing Manager with a passion for music, sports, and entertainment and who thrives in a proactive, collaborative environment to join our team.
You will play a key role in the development and execution of SiriusXM Canada's social media marketing strategies for the corporate brand and be responsible for overseeing both the organic and paid social media efforts of SiriusXM Canada.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience creating social content and understands platform nuances and specifications when it comes to creating social media assets. You know what best-in-class social looks like for brands, are innovative and are willing to take risks. You have worked across multiple digital marketing functions. This includes expertise in paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat, Reddit, as well as experience in organic social, influencer marketing, app installation campaigns, and other related areas.
The candidate should have a strong background in social media management, a deep understanding of all platforms, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record of driving brand engagement and growth within online social communities. You will be part of SiriusXM Canada's Marketing team, working alongside Brand, Creative Labs, Events & Sponsorships, and Communications groups.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop & evolve SiriusXM Canada’s social strategy, identifying new opportunities for customer growth.
  • Lead the content strategy, content creation, and content posting for all of SiriusXM Canada’s brand social media channels.
  • Drive SiriusXM’s live capture strategy at events/sponsorships and other experiential marketing initiatives.
  • Own day-to-day paid social management and campaign optimizations - bid & budget management, target audience development & refinement, creative iteration, reporting, and measurement.
  • Partner with media agencies and internal teams to build automation and scalable tools (e.g., audience automation, creative optimization, campaign building, performance reporting, and forecasting).
  • Partner with the brand and creative teams to concept, produce, refine, and iterate thumb-stopping performance branding creative that tells our brand story while achieving acquisition and engagement KPIs.
  • Own the tracking, attribution, and measurement of digital media performance metrics (ROAS, incrementality, lift, etc.) using a combination of in-house and third-party data.
  • Own campaign reporting and communication of progress toward digital media performance targets.
  • Manage external partners (agencies, account partners, vendors) to improve performance, explore new platform opportunities, secure access to beta features, and provide value to other SiriusXM Canada teams.

Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or New Media
Experience and Skills:
  • 5-7 years of experience managing, scaling, and overseeing social media strategy and performance marketing in channels like Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of social publishing tools (i.e. Hootsuite), measurement tools (i.e. Kochava and Branch), or social listening services (i.e. Meltwater, Sprout, etc..)
  • Expert knowledge of Canva or other design/editing tools.
  • Experience with photography and video production is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to set and hit aggressive growth goals and targets.
  • Ability to thrive within a dynamic, high-stakes but incredibly supportive team
  • Clear, concise communication style and comfort working with a diverse group of people.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven with a strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (must love pivot tables).
  • Passion for content, keeps a pulse on social media and cultural trends.
  • Growth mindset and feel energized and motivated to hit KPIs and benchmarks.
  • Identify opportunities to build community and increase engagement with our community of listeners (and fans) across our brand channels and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • You’re comfortable with travelling, being available nights and weekends to perform community engagement and cover live events as needed.
  • Fluency in the French language and/or understanding the Quebec market is a major asset.
