Manager, Finance Creative Operations
Description
- Day-to-day creative budget management in Uniport
- Supporting the Creative and Video departments with 3rd party payments (creating POs/reservations)
- Issuing payments to vendors on behalf of the Creative and Video departments, including collection of all UMG required vendor documentation and UMG internal approvals
- Managing departmental responsibilities across team of 2 staff
- Issuing ad-hoc reports to department heads/labels, as needed
- Have an understanding of the overall scope of the project’s creative budget and different vendors associated in order to anticipate invoices ahead of time
- Working closely with the Finance teams to reconcile budgets for the monthly/quarterly accounting accruals
- Work with the Central Accounting team to issue JEs and other creative-related accounting entries
Requirements
- Degree qualified (specific to business, finance or accounting)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a finance operations, corporate accounting, or similar position
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills – understanding of Microsoft Excel and Financial Payment Systems
- Experience using the Uniport payment system a plus
- Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees of the company at all levels including Senior Management
- Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with external partners
- Strong people skills & communication skills needed to liaise with external vendors in particular
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to work under high pressure, deadlines and speed
- Must be flexible, able to multi-task and manage time effectively
