The role
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual who will find their way in a hectic work environment. Someone who is organised, has an eye for detail, and has a passion for new music and spotting trends. Whilst you will be encouraged to find your own feet you will be ably supported by all the experience around you in a company famed for its hardworking team ethic. This is a hybrid role that requires the candidate to be in our Haggerston office 9am - 6pm Tuesday - Thursday and work from home on Monday’s and Friday’s.
  • Help develop the strategy for our in-house content series. Develop new event ideas and bring them to life.
  • Identify and target great emerging artists to book for such events, particularly in the independent music scene.
  • Enhance the promotion of all events with digital marketing activities and strategies.
  • Build, develop and maintain successful relationships with other promoters, agents and event producers.
  • Be aware of market trends and competitive elements within the industry.
  • Routing, budgeting, advancing, administering and marketing shows in London and the rest of the UK.
  • Liaising with artist agents and managers to find and develop artists in the live market for the company.
  • Liaising efficiently with all departments within Gotobeat to ensure a seamless communication of information.
  • You will be part of the wider team of departments within the company which make up a very hard-working environment.

Requirements

The Successful Candidate
Candidates must possess the following when applying:
  • Knowledge of the live music scene / new music across London and the UK
  • Experience putting on live concerts (essential)
  • Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Office & Excel
  • Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to create and manage budgets
  • Professional manner in line with artist, agent & manager expectations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • An intelligent and committed approach to work
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • A naturally helpful, outgoing and approachable personality
  • Familiarity with social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), especially used at a professional level
What is a plus
  • Previous experience running consistent live events
  • Familiarity with Wordpress and website development
