Summary
The Label Coordinator is responsible for supporting the label marketing, creative, operations and commerce teams with various tasks to ensure proper campaign tracking & success. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented and has strong communication, organizational and time management skills. This role will have visibility to the day-to-day functions of a record label, working with artist managers & contributing creatively in artist projects & on-going development.
Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Lowly team and distribution company across release planning, partner opportunities, streaming optimization, etc.
  • Set up pre-save links, route & manage marketing assets & generate ideas for release planning
  • Pull data for weekly marketing reports & provide analysis
  • Attend artist meetings, brainstorm ideas for upcoming release campaigns & special marketing projects as assigned
  • Ensure proper asset collection & management for distribution of products (audio, video, artwork, stems, credits, etc.), and assist with product entry into distribution platform as needed
  • Maintain metadata in audio playlisting platforms (ie Disco, playMPE, Promo Jukebox etc)
  • Generate Disco pitching playlists based on moods, genres, pitching briefs for DSPs, sync, etc.
  • Maintain internal trackers including metadata (adding UPCs, ISRCs, master & publishing split information, etc)
  • Assist with invoice processing across departments, follow up with vendors & ensure accurate marketing budget allocation to projects.

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience working in the entertainment industry
  • 1 year of previous administrative experience
  • Highly proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar), experience with Adobe suite & other project management platforms a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Knowledge of analytics platforms (Spotify for Artists, Chartmetric, etc.) a plus
  • Existing relationships in the music industry a plus
  • Design & asset creation experience a plus
