KPop Marketing Manager Korea
Description
- Lead K-Pop campaigns from inception to completion, including adaptation of global K-Pop campaigns tailored to Korean market requirements
- Work with Korea Marketing Team and Korea Music Team to find opportunities in K-Pop that will drive impact in business growth for Spotify in Korea
- Lead all aspects of the curation and distribution of K-Pop content on diverse publishing channels for social-led release campaigns in close collaborations with K-Pop Marketing Senior Producer and regional marketing managers
- Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in the K-Pop industry, as well as broader cultural and consumer trends in Korea to proactively see opportunities for innovation and differentiation in Spotify’s K-Pop marketing strategy
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 to 8 years of experience with a proven track record of building impactful, creative and innovative campaigns that connect with audiences and break through the cultural zeitgeist in the music, consumer goods, and entertainment industry
- Work experience in music labels in the Korea is a plus
- As the focal point of interaction between Korea Marketing Team, Korea Music Team and global teams, you will play a pivotal role in encouraging flawless communication and coordination. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the adaptation of global K-Pop campaigns for Korean audiences
- Collaborate with Music team to build outstanding artist / music marketing campaigns
- Passionate about the dynamic world of K-Pop, you are someone who stays abreast of the latest trends and developments in the industry
- Your deep understanding of K-Pop culture and its diverse audience enables you to contribute valuable insights and perspectives to our team. Keeping a finger on the pulse of current trends, you thrive in an environment where staying culturally relevant is key
- Your knowledge and passion for K-Pop will be instrumental in crafting and improving our engagement strategies with this vibrant and ever-evolving community
- You are proficient in both Korean and English
