Junior Strategist
Description
- Helping artist teams think strategically and creatively about their projects, releases and campaigns
- Interpreting data to extract meaningful insights that inform and inspire creativity
- Helping artists and labels to use research and data to understand and grow their audiences
- Educating labels and artist teams about relevant trends across global platforms and communities that drive their worlds and their futures
- Working directly with different communities of fans and audiences to understand them in vivid detail and be able to interpret this back to UMG teams
Requirements
- A strong passion for music, including knowledge of a variety of styles & genres
- An understanding of data and how it can be used to help build strategic insight
- The ability to think critically about data, research and insights
- The desire and ability to absorb and understand information rapidly
- A flair for communication, both written and spoken
- Intellectually curious and gain energy from diving deep into a theme or idea
- An understanding and interest in trends in consumer culture, media and technology
- Organised and conscientious
- Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines
- Rigorous standards of work, with high standards of attention to detail
- Understanding of key software – Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
