- Developed a strong understanding of SMO principles
- Taken over the writing and scheduling of social media posts for radio shows
- Ensured timely publication of changes and updates to the Classic FM playlist and programming information
- Creating engaging social posts for Classic FM’s leading social platforms, optimising content for various channels
- Creating video content for Classic FM’s social platforms
- Working with wider Global teams to create email and push content
- Carrying out interviews with artists and musicians where applicable
- Scheduling social media posts for radio shows
- Creating and updating features and show pages for radio programmes, and curating radio index pages on ClassicFM.com
- Updating Classic FM’s music playlist information for the website and app
- Executing the Global Player app download strategy
- Evaluating all the above activities through various analytics tools to report back to the editorial teams, and make recommendations for future activity
Requirements
- Quickly adapting to Classic FM’s tone of voice, capable of writing in an engaging style about classical music and the arts
- Producing a wealth of engaging social and video content, with an eye for what will perform well
- Developing an expert understanding of how to optimise digital content for different channels including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok
- Working collaboratively with a dynamic and creative team of editors and producers
