Junior Commercial Analyst
Description
- Standardised Reporting: Maintain and optimize a systematic program of reports to better inform the Digital Partnerships and International teams on individual campaigns, DSPs, and the market as a whole
- Report Development and Tool Building: With the support of the Senior Commercial Analyst, you’ll develop new data tools and reports
- Ad Hoc Reporting: Be the go-to person for basic ad hoc queries from Digital Partnerships and International Teams related to sales/streaming and marketing analysis requests
- Market Trends and Strategic Insights: Support the Senior Commercial Analyst in broader research pieces looking into market changes and strategic recommendations.
- Basic UK Charts Queries: Distribution of charts data, topline charts analysis and sales queries, product registration, and basic eligibility queries
Requirements
- This is a data role, but we’re looking for someone who can talk confidently about data in the context of music specifically, with people in creative roles.
- Highly numerate
- Skilled in analytics: capable of interpreting large data sets and communicating & visualizing findings clearly and concisely
- Advanced knowledge of all primary MS Office software, especially Excel
- VBA, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL knowledge good to have (but not required)
- Some understanding of the current landscape of the music industry
- Communicate effectively and confidently
- Be organized and excel when handling multiple projects
- Have a customer service mentality to ensure the needs of the company are met in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Our work is often fast paced, so you’ll need to be able to prioritise and action tasks quickly when needed
- Strong interpersonal skills
