About the Role
  • We are looking for a Level 3 Data Technician Apprentice to join our Global Administration team.
  • You will provide support to the Global Admin department and will play a crucial role in data maintenance, ensuring the integrity and quality of our data.
  • You will work closely with the team to identify, assess and address inconsistencies and errors within datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and validity of those datasets.
  • This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data and analysis while making a meaningful impact on our operations.
  • By the end of the apprenticeship, you will understand how Copyright, Royalties, Licensing and the Digital areas work and how data plays a crucial role in these areas and the wider business.
  • This role is perfect for those who have an interest in working closely with data and learning the business side to music publishing. For this role you will be using Excel and must have knowledge/experience using it and be aware/capable of creating pivot tables, applying filters, sorting and making use of formulas.

Requirements

Who You Are: (skills/experience/qualifications in order of importance)
Essential requirements:
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel in a professional environment.
  • Proficient in other Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Enjoys working with large and complex data sets.
Desirable requirements:
  • Knowledge of the music publishing and wider music industry.
  • Experience using data storage, preparation and visualization tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Altair Data Prep Studio, Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
  • Any other language.
