Production Club is a multidisciplinary team of badasses inventing, designing and producing music-based parties, shows, and experiences worldwide.
SUMMARY:
We’re looking to hire a Freelance Motion Graphics Designer with an interest and/or background in graphic design, who will support our internal visuals team on 3D animation projects for a global tech brand’s conference. As a motion generalist, you will collaborate and execute on a bunch of animations across 2D and 3D including large-scale video screens, website animation, social, and digital work for venues. Collaborating with our motion directors, you’ll work on stunning animations based on an art direction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Production of 2D/3D motion design
- Create content that will become assets for the in-house team such as animations for: screens, websites, social, keynotes and venues
- Work closely with motion directors and art directors to develop and realize techniques for animation, visual aesthetic, styleframes and animatics, etc.
- Uphold an airtight folder structure and file naming convention
- Maintain highly-organized files for easy hand-off between team members
- Manage timelines autonomously to achieve key milestones and deadlines
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional experience working as a mid-level motion designer.
- Foundation skills in graphic design
- The ability to adapt and expand upon an art direction which is highly abstract in aesthetic and form
- An exceptionally keen eye for details and compositional arrangement (in both space and time)
- Advanced proficiency in Cinema 4D, Redshift and After Effects
- Experience managing tight deadlines as well as the ability to find execution techniques that suit the time available
- Technical knowledge with file formats, codecs, color spaces, etc.
- Ability to work remotely, using our render farm and handling large image sequences
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Experience working with LED video billboards and pixel-mapped content
- Awareness of corporate brand client tastes and sensibilities
- EU timezone for real-time collaboration with our international motion artists and directors
- DaVinci Resolve (fusion) for comping
