Expert Sound Designer
Description
- Expert in interactive and linear sound effects design.
- In-depth real-time audio-control scripting.
- Audio asset implementation.
- Mixing & mastering.
- Field recording.
- Proficiency in authoring 3d/spatial audio formats.
- Collaborate with audio programmers and other sound designers to develop audio systems based on creative vision and gameplay needs.
- Apply studio and departmental best practices of technical audio workflows and systems.
- Audio tools & run-time systems design collaboration.
Requirements
- Demonstrated creative and technical achievements in sound design.
- Fluency in game audio implementation systems.
- Knowledge of immersive audio formats such as Ambisonics.
- Experience in game audio scripting or other relevant programming environments.
- Understanding of PS5, XBox Series X, and PC audio functionality, capabilities, and limitations.
- Experience with major digital audio workstations, and power-user of at least one.
- Solid understanding of technical audio theory and audio engineering.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- College degree preferred.
- Continuing Education Certificate, Professional or advanced degree in audio engineering, music, or similar preferred.
- Game development accomplishments outside of audio.
- Experienced with scripting and/or programming.
- Field recording, music composition or mixing experience.
- FPS/Multi-player experience a plus.
- Experience with Radiant game development software a plus
