Our Marketing team has an exciting career-building opportunity to join as a Digital Marketing Executive. As the Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for growing YouTube, TikTok, and building social media campaigns across all of Demon’s key artists, working closely with artists and management.
Demon Music Group is one of the largest UK independent record companies, specialising in the marketing of physical and digital catalogue music with repertoire sourced from both major and independent companies around the world as well as our own vast library of rights. We control music catalogues from several high-profile artists across several genres including Suede, T. Rex, Labi Siffre, Donna Summer, Daniel O’Donnell, Holland Dozier Holland, as well as key kids brands Bluey, Hey Duggee and Justin Fletcher. We are home to several successful labels including Demon Records and Edsel, creating specialist vinyl and CD packages and working with retail internationally. Digitally we have a thriving business and operating across all the key DSPs, with one eye on the future we are looking to grow the digital business.

This role would require you to be on site at our TVC, London Office 2 days of the week; Tuesday and Wednesday.
**Main Responsibilities **
As the Digital Marketing Executive, you will be expected to bring a huge degree of enthusiasm, creativity, knowledge, initiative, and passion to the role. The role will require you to develop and maintain key relationships within Demon Music Group and externally with artist management and content creators. The role is within a huge area of growth within the business and will be a rewarding role, but it is imperative the successful candidate has the ability to plan and prioritise their workload, work within a team, be adaptable and resilient, and flexible to the needs of the business.
  • Develop and establish TikTok profiles for all key Demon artists
  • Content creation across all Demon DSP channels
  • Coordination of HD upscale content across DSPs
  • Collaborate with artist management across social channels
  • Proactively looking at digital opportunities to grow Demon artist audiences
  • Develop Demon’s YouTube channels and subscriber base
  • Develop the existing Demon social media profiles to enhance our streaming profile
  • Develop a network of influencers across social media
  • Support with ad hoc sales and marketing tasks when required
  • Ad hoc marketing task when required

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need
  • Significant digital marketing experience within the music industry or a similar
  • The ability to work strategically across all social media platforms, DSPs, and be able to plan and deliver how to grow audiences.
  • You must have experience of working across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, and other social media platforms with relevant examples of successful campaigns showing growth and engagement.
  • You will be an expert in content creation, working with designers and managing other content creators, and have solid knowledge of pop music, or an understanding of how to research Demon’s acts.
  • You will need to demonstrate enthusiasm about each of our acts/talents and all the music we release, we have a very diverse roster of music and each may require a bespoke approach in thinking.
  • You will demonstrate the ability to forge and maintain strong and effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will have experience in working within teams and dealing with external clients.
  • You must be numerate, computer proficient (Adobe packages, content creation tools, photoshop, Word, Outlook, Excel), be creative, and able to demonstrate how to research projects and execute them efficiently.
  • You will have the ability to handle a busy workload and demonstrate a can-do attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for music. The successful candidate will own the role and shape the future of how Demon will grow across YouTube and TikTok.
