Marketing is at the heart of Native Instruments’ business. We act as the conduit between the company and its audiences. Together, we are aiming to empower music creators worldwide and promote our brand and products through effective marketing campaigns, inspiring content and unique community activations. As one of our full-time Copywriters, you will collaborate closely with Digital Marketing Experts, Product Marketing Managers, Graphic and Video Artists on developing and implementing integrated campaigns and initiatives to promote our software and hardware portfolio as well as engage our customers.
What You’ll Do Applying your strong organisational skills, you will maintain a steady flow of copy assets and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines Collaborating with Product Owners on product definition and communication strategy, you will transform complex product specs into easy-to-read and compelling copy Working closely with the Growth Leads and Marketing Managers, you will contribute to the development of creative concepts, product positioning, names, and claims, and deliver quality, error-free long copy including product packaging, web text, newsletters, blog posts, factsheets, and press releases Collaborating with Social Media and Digital Marketing teams, you will write precise and persuasive copy for ads, animated trailers, and email marketing You will help grow and manage a roster of talented freelance specialists to complement your skills and manage workflow Motivated towards excellence, you will continually improve your creative craft, and share your knowledge pro-actively within the copywriting team and beyond

Requirements

  • You are Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills as evidenced by your portfolio of work
  • Demonstrated expertise as a Copywriter in a marketing or creative environment, ideally with some experience within the music industry or an agency context
  • A portfolio of work which demonstrates your track record of innovative copywriting which stands out from the crowd
  • An interest and understanding of the current music and music production landscape
  • An understanding of current genres and trends within music, with a focus on language styles and terms that resonate with specific audiences and scenes
  • You can write and manage your workflow efficiently with the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • As a communications professional, you respond positively to feedback and are comfortable to integrate change requests as needed
  • Proven success in working both independently and within a collaborative team
  • A meerkat mindset: you thrive working together with a diverse group of people to create work that’s greater than the sum of its parts
