Coordinator, Licensing & Copyright
Description
- Assist with the onboarding of new songs, clients, and related assets into company’s internal databases • Carry out research to fill in any gaps of missing data related to Reservoir’s catalogue
- Prepare and submit registrations to the US Copyright Office
- Support department in managing catalogue on YouTube, TikTok, Meta, etc.
- Compile information for internal reporting on database management and new releases from Reservoir’s writers
- Complete ad hoc tasks as needed
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in music rights administration (internships count)
- Knowledge of music publishing deal structures and royalty types.
- Familiarity with YouTube CMS rights management system
- Excellent working knowledge in Microsoft Excel with hands on experience in vlookups, pivot tables, and using formulas
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple simultaneous activities • Passion for music and technology
- Superior oral and written communication skills
