Coordinator, Digital Marketing (Urban)
Description
- Communicate and work collaboratively across label departments including Marketing, International Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Creative, Finance, Research & Insights, and Production.
- Daily administrative tasks as needed, including organizing meetings and sending calendar and conference invites.
- Process invoices and coordinate budget communication internally, as well as vendor communication.
- Coordinate automated submissions across digital marketing partners and Internal UMG processes, and follow through on details needed.
- Create trackable, affiliate links for multi-tiered campaigns and initiatives and monitor performance.
- Contribute ideas and participate in brainstorms and throughout campaign planning – keep abreast of existing and emerging media and marketing trends.
- Work with visual and art departments on creative digital content, optimization, routing, and scheduling.
- Track, analyze and utilize campaign, social data, consumer behavior online, and audience awareness to help optimize digital marketing efforts.
- Support execution of engaging UGC campaigns across short form content platforms that drive creations, trends, and vitality of music on the platform while also building artist audiences.
- Monitor campaign goals and objectives around awareness, engagement, consumption (streams, video views), and conversion (pre-orders, D2C) with measurable KPIs.
- Track-specific milestones, including email, social and advertising conversion rates, plays and views, number of fans acquired, campaign spend and ROI against project goals.
- Identify viral, digital word-of-mouth marketing opportunities with the goal of driving traffic, fan acquisition, and creating brand awareness for artists and participate in team & campaign brainstorms.
- Discover new sites, accounts, creators, and outlets to promote artists and maintain relationships.
Requirements
- Must have 1-2 years experience in digital, marketing, or content creation with focus on analytics and content.
- Strong analytical background and ability to create and update reports.
- Exceptional executor and communicator with a proven track record for accountability.
- Excellent communication, oral and written skills are a must. The candidate will be collaborating with presenting campaigns to and contextualizing results for a broad audience every week.
- Must be proficient with using Excel, PowerPoint or Keynote and be comfortable with collaboration and asset management tools like Google Drive, Box, Monday.com and the like. Adobe Creative cloud proficiency a plus.
- Ambitious individual sought who is a self-starter requiring minimal direction. Must thrive in a team environment but be able to take initiative and work independently.
- Candidate must be motivated, creative, innovative, organized, detail-oriented and accustomed to working under tight deadlines.
- Candidate must have strong computer knowledge of various music applications and excellent knowledge of the Internet. Passion for music and internet is a must!
