Client and Partner Risk Analyst - Music Industry

As an integral role within the Financial Services business unit, you will focus on the assessment of client and partner risk (B2C and B2B) in the domain of royalty advances in the Music Industry. You will be responsible for diversified tasks within the client and partner approval and monitoring process, including client interfacing, client risk analysis and rating determination, presentation of credit assessments and recommendations to the credit committee and intensive collaboration with the sales organization.
You will be an expert at identifying productivity and automation potential and actively support simplification and digitalization of risk management tools and processes. We will support you with an attractive professional development and career opportunities in an international and fun environment.
The position can be located in London, Stockholm, Helsinki or Zug.
Responsibilities
  • Process clients’ and prospects’ applications for royalty advances including direct communication with clients
  • Research and evaluate quality and reliability of clients’ royalty streams: payment sources, age, depth and longevity of underlying music catalog
  • Assess the financial strength of partners (distributors, publishers, labels, PROs)
  • Recommend amounts and terms for client advances and partner credit lines to the credit committee
  • Contribute to the development of the counter-party risk management framework, incl. processes and procedures
  • Monitor and manage the risks on the existing royalty advances as well as partners
  • Coach, train and support less experienced team members

Requirements

  • Music Industry highly essential (shoulder industries also considered if familiarity within this space)
  • Minimum 4 years’ work experience in B2C and / or B2B customer risk assessment
  • University degree in finance / business or similar
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to cultivate effective relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel
  • Well organized to navigate our growth company landscape
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • An independent way of working with a hands-on mindset and analytical way of thinking
