PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Booking Manager supports the Vice President of Booking in designing and developing the programming content in the Arenas and other -publicly-ticketed entertainment venues in the company's Las Vegas and regional properties, as needed, to meet the overall strategy and objectives of the Corporate Entertainment team and property leadership. This position will have primary responsibility for developing financial models, offer letters and overseeing the accuracy of booking calendars at assigned venues and actively participating in sourcing content to fill available performance periods by qualified entertainers in a variety of locations. This position will support all directives of Corporate Entertainment and will assist in providing financial and operational information and projections as necessary for management to set policy and make timely decisions to actively compete in multiple dynamic entertainment markets.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the scheduling process for the Company's -publicly ticketed Arena events and act as primary point of contact for those venues for external and internal clients, utilizing calendar management software such as EventBooking.com and/or other products.
  • Support VP of Booking in producing proformas, booking update reports, presentations and other financial documents.
  • Contribute to the coordination of a balanced approach in programming assigned venues, in alignment with each property's brand, strategies and initiatives.
  • Manage relationships and communicate directly with promoters and agents, in alignment with established industry protocols and venue availability, including communicating calendar date holds.
  • Ensure timely, effective, efficient and accurate flow of communication between clients, property leadership and senior entertainment executives.
  • Act as a conduit between promoters, agents, marketing, legal, ticketing and various other departments to ensure smooth and proper execution of shows from inception through settlement.
  • Work closely with VP of Booking and property representatives to assemble leads consistent with venue budgets, while working closely with property management and Corporate Entertainment for approvals and processing of offers.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • One (1) year of prior customer service experience, preferably in a sports/entertainment venue environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in fine arts, business or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability travel periodically as business demands require.
PREFERRED:
  • Previous experience in a leadership role.
  • Contract experience related to shows, bands, events, riders and production requirements.
  • Previous work experience in the Las Vegas market, integrated resorts, gaming related properties and entertainment venues.
  • Previous experience working with EventBooking.com, Delphi, and/or Daylight software programs.
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience with shows, artists, management and production entities or equivalent experience in Finance, Marketing, production or similar departments.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite, specifically extensive use of Microsoft Excel.
