Associate Producer
Description
- Produce great work.
- Manage small to medium sized content projects independently or support larger campaigns under the guidance of a lead producer
- Problem solve with internal and external teams to get to the best work possible.
- Work closely with all departments and outside partners to execute assignments on time and on budget.
- Responsible for seeing a job through from its inception to final delivery and job wrap.
- Develop and manage production calendars and direct the logistical flow of production from pre-production through post production.
- Work with our in-house production arm, 16 Bars, for projects as needed.
- Identify opportunities to work with our UnitedMasters artists on various projects.
- Travel to and coordinate shoots for your own projects or as on the ground support for larger campaigns; including but not limited to managing pick up shoots or separate social / B-units.
- Track all job actuals, maintain the job jacket with precision, and final wrap + archive of all projects with acute attention to detail.
- Performance of all necessary production duties, big and small, for projects as assigned.
- Maintains knowledge of production trends and platforms to keep up with the ever changing world of "content and experiences."
- Seek opportunities for underrepresented creators both in the company and within the industry.
Requirements
- An appetite for working on projects with ever increasing complexity as you gain more experience and skills.
- Consistency of gaining trust and respect by demonstrating sound critical-thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations.
- Strength in working with colleagues, clients and vendors at various levels and across functions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of team members or clients..
- The ability to work under pressure with flexibility, agility, and a good sense of humor.
- Well versed in managing budgets and deadlines of all types with accuracy and diplomacy.
- Superb problem solving, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Flexible multi-tasker that can handle a multitude of different responsibilities at one time.
- Demonstrate, evangelize and live the core values of the agency.
- Incorporate the passion, excitement and experience of one's MINOR in relevant ways that inform the quality and output of the company.
- 3-5 years production experience
- After-hours work and overnight traveling to shoots or post sessions required
- A portfolio of work showing large and small budget productions.
- Experience working with celebrities, athletes, musicians, influencers, etc.
- Experience with union and non-union crew productions, including both SAG and non-SAG talent.
- Passion and knowledge of latest industry trends (music, media, distribution, directors, film, tech, etc).
