Right now, we are on the hunt for a candidate to fill the role Associate Marketing Manager – Venues & Music. This candidate should understand that culture is more than a buzzword, and that music is an unparalleled way for people to connect as well as socialize.
What You'll Do: Macro: Lead and develop the Venue Manager team (6 reports) and create programming that maximizes both local as well as national music related partnerships.
Micro:
  • Align on focus account/target distribution lists across all Venue Managers
  • Develop calendar to coordinate and leverage national partnerships at the local level
  • Build a world class network of emerging artists, musicians, promoters, and venue owners – all aligned with the PBR ethos – that we can partner with in an effort to increase our talkability as well as our share of voice thru earned conversations
  • Develop and manage cross departmental ways-of-working for the Venue Managers with Sales and other pertinent functions.
  • Develop and train Venue Managers on all reporting systems, to measure, celebrate, and communicate their impact in the market.
  • Synthesize outcomes of the Venue Managers team and other endeavors into music, to illustrate the impact on sales and brand perceptions.
  • Reports into Senior Manager of Culture & Partnerships (Pabst Blue Ribbon Marketing team).

Requirements

What You'll Need and What We’re Looking For:
  • Track record of delivering against qualitative business, sales, and marketing objectives.
  • The ability to synthesize a field team to deliver against common KPI’s
  • Passion and deep connection to the brands and individuals driving trends in music and the culture that surrounds it.
  • Strong network of musicians, labels and music industry contacts.
  • Jaw dropping portfolio that highlights and showcases your work in similar, interrelated spaces to what this position covers
  • Budgetary acumen with the ability to negotiate contracts, rights of usage, etc.
  • Ability to travel frequently, up to several weeks per month.
  • Self-starter that flourishes in an autonomous environment
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Positive attitude and influence
  • 3 years’ experience in music industry, marketing, and managing direct reports is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree is a nice to have, but not absolutely necessary
  • No beverage industry experience required, but basic understanding of three-tiered system is expected.
