Associate Manager, Audience Development, Allure & SELF
Description
- Manage daily newsletter via consistent campaign analysis and testing.
- Edit and QA newsletter content.
- Understand, serve and grow the email audiences for Allure and SELF.
- Measure the performance of audience development initiatives and optimize according to goals.
- Support content distribution on third-party platforms as needed.
- Identify new growth opportunities and best practices based on emerging digital trends, competitive business intelligence, and consumer insights. Provide insight that will increase newsletter engagement.
- Partner closely with Digital Editorial to identify key content themes and newsletter opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with Allure’s editorial, commerce, publishers, product development, consumer marketing, and sales & marketing groups to identify opportunities to maximize customer engagement & monetization.
- Additional duties as required, or as assigned by manager
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience (including internships) in digital content marketing–particularly email marketing.
- Experience managing, analyzing and building email campaigns.
- Exposure to analytics tools and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Entrepreneurial, digitally savvy, creative, and experimental approach to problem-solving, with exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate and present initiatives to editorial and technical teams alike, and adept at communicating with and managing a variety of stakeholders across teams.
- Prior experience using Sailthru is a plus.
- Personal or professional interest in beauty and/or wellness is preferred.
