Assistant, Promotions and Partnerships
Description
- Assist with all aspects of promotional events, including pre-/post-concert receptions and off-site activations that help support the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Hollywood Bowl and The Ford programming.
- Act as a brand ambassador at activations, providing visitors with knowledge on our upcoming seasons and events.
- Coordinate and manage promotional giveaways with community radio stations including KPFK, KXLU, etc.
- Manage all promotional assets (creative, copy, images, etc.) and distribute to relevant parties as needed.
- Research new community partners to engage with each season.
- Oversee both internal and external distribution of seasonal brochures and other promotional materials to cultural organizations.
- Support Sr Manager and Manager of Promotions & Partnerships on planning and execution of additional promotions events, including the annual Partner Picnic at the Hollywood Bowl.
- Support the Analytics & Audience Development team with special interest group events (i.e. CODA), as needed.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years promotional experience in the Los Angeles area
- Background in Audience development and hospitality event planning a plus
- Communication skills (written and verbal)
- Capable of working as a member of a team as well as independently
- Passion for music
- Availability to work nights and weekends
