Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Program Director at iHeartMedia in San Diego, CA for KIOZ and KGB-FM. The Assistant Program Director will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of radio programming and branding, including scheduling, content creation, digital content creation, talent coaching, branding and coordination of live events. The Assistant Program Director will collaborate with the Program Director and on-air personalities to ensure a high-quality and engaging listening and viewing experience for the audience.

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience in radio programming and digital content strategy
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of current music and industry trends
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with Sound+, Nexgen and Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Audition, Photoshop)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • On-Air experience
  • Music Label relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Communications, or a related field
