Asset Management Specialist
Description
- Coordinate audio, video assets for frontline release, working with DMG A&R, A&R Admin, DMG Marketing and distribution team members.
- Liaise with mastering houses, mixers, and external business partners, to coordinate, schedule, and trouble shoot asset deliveries.
- Work with distribution partner to ensure all new release assets are uploaded to distribution Dam and Disney DAM.
- Able to understand and communicate the Vinyl mastering and lacquer creation process.
- Research and address any QC, mastering or track list issues quickly with delivering agency and distributor, keeping stakeholders updated on progress and resolutions.
- Manage relationship with 3rd party vendors (Studio CDN, Crowded Head) including application and project progress updates.
- Attend and contribute to DAM working group. Data Curation Working Group, Production Schedule Working Group,
- Application expert and DMG support for DMG DAM, Studio CDN, and Workfront.
- Help team manage volume of asset requests.
- Guide design and maintain DMG Schedule as related to frontline production, for Audio, Video and Vinyl.
- Provide project updates in weekly meetings to marketing and management.
- Assist department in normalization and cleansing of asset metadata
- Manage and coordinate high security release
- Contribute to additional asset related projects as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience related to music/video production
- General knowledge of asset database management
- Knowledge of audio and video codecs.
- Knowledge of Vinyl mastering & creation
- Ability to QC various audio and video formats (Digital files, Vinyl, CDs, Cassettes)
- Energetic, efficient, excellent time-management skills; this is a FAST-PACED environment
- Attention to detail; accuracy is critical
- Highly intelligent and adaptable; quick learner
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal skills; very customer and service focused
- Minimum 2 years of experience in music industry
- Familiarity with audio and video editing software
- Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent work experience
