Artist Relations Manager, Amazon Music
Description
- Launch and manage the Originals program for Amazon Music with a high degree of independence and entrepreneurship
- Facilitating and encouraging positive discussions with Italy-based artists/managers
- Manage end to end internal and external pitches and launches for Artist Relations Programs
- Develop compelling solutions for artists to engage in initiatives with Amazon Music, resulting in business growth for the artist.
- Develop key relationships and act as an Amazon Music ambassador within the artist community and the larger music industry
- Present Amazon Music to the artist and manager community to show them the benefits of Amazon Music
- Keep up to date with cultural trends and the industry landscape to make informed content strategy recommendations
- Monitor, and review content performance for the artist team, making recommendations to improve plans to deliver shared goals
Requirements
- 4+ years experience with label/artist relations, account management, product/project management or sales/marketing ideally with a specialist music role, label or artist management team
- Knowledge of the music industry and digital media landscape, including a passion for the music community and culture
- Ability to work independently; entrepreneurial spirit and have propensity for bias for action
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to speak Italian/English fluently
- Ability to build trust with internal and external teams
- Able to worth through and deal with ambiguity
- Sound work ethic with strong attention to detail and drive to deliver results
- Experience in team-oriented work environment
- Ability to interact with stakeholders across all levels of seniority
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not strictly required
