Artist Manager
Description
We are currently seeking an Artist Manager to join the dynamic VRJAM Studios and Music Team. The role will work closely with the Marketing and Head of operations and handle music clearances for virtual events, tracks, singles, music releases, trailers, promotions, advertisements, and special events.
The Artist Manager's role is a wide-ranging and varied one focussed on music industry business development and management across VRJAM's business. The role impacts various divisions within VRJAM's organizational structure and is both a practical and strategic role encompassing the day-to-day management of VRJAM's stable of virtual reality beings (electronic music artists) and providing executive support and consultancy to VRJAM's Creator Guild and Community Management teams.

The role is full-time, it will require the successful applicant to manage many concurrent workflows. Therefore, unusual working hours will be required from time to time—at least five years experience in an artist management role, ideally within electronic music or pop music. Minimum office hours are three days per week. You are preferably living in The Netherlands.
Key features:
- Working closely with artists in the creation of music and video content.
- Servicing, including making travel and hotel arrangements for artists obtaining work visas and producing itineraries.
- Diary and database management and contract processing.
- Maintaining press and PR materials and updating the agency website and social media channels.
- Providing PA support to artists, including general office administration.
- Prospecting negotiation and contracting of record contracts and brand integration deals.
- Overseeing the production management of video production and virtual live events.
- Administering rights registration and royalty collection.
- Planning and managing promotional and marketing campaigns in collaboration with our marketing teams.
- Provision of consultancy and executive support of VRJAM's community management team and creator guild.
- Remuneration is based on a salary plus commission on artist earnings sustained by VRJAM's virtual beings.
- Music, TV, and Film production experience is a plus.

Requirements
Must have:
- Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to multitask demands from across the business.
- Work closely with legal and operations teams to escalate compliance issues and assist with resolutions.
- Track licensing terms and expiration dates in a shared spreadsheet and archive executed licenses.
- Partner effectively across internal divisions and with external stakeholders.
- Native-level English (written and spoken) is required, and the role would suit a creative thinker who thrives under pressure.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role is a prerequisite.
- Experience in negotiating deals in the entertainment business.
- Bachelor's Degree in music, finance, legal, business, or equivalent experience.
- Solid relationships with artists, labels, publishers, and music libraries.
- The ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented team player who can follow through on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Up to date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing and music business.
- General understanding of Live streaming, broadcasting, live events, and cryptocurrency is essential.
