ARDEN WAX COMPANY is a progressive record label that provides flexible PR, marketing, business, and creative support for artists. Starting as a research project in 2019 to discover what the role of a record label could be in the age of Spotify streaming and social media, Arden Wax graduated into a business plan for a flexible project-based management group aimed at helping artists on individual projects. The ideals and café-like menu of services offered by Arden Wax Company counter the controlling and foreboding, long-term “360 deals” that managers, agents, and labels rely on as common practice.
